Infinite Sequences and Series

These notes cover sequences and series.

infinite sequence. An infinite sequence is a function S:Z+R,{S: \pint \mapsto \reals,} written as (a1,a2,,an,).{(a_1,a_2,\ldots,a_n,\ldots).} We denote infinite sequences with the notation ( an )n=1,{\seq{a_n}{n=1}{\infty},} and say that an{a_n} is the n{n}th term.
